Sam Acton-King is a Cinematographer and visual artist based in Vancouver BC. Specializing in documentary, music video, commercial work, and narrative - including collaborations with people and organizations such as CBC, Nardwuar the Human Serviette, APTN, KidsTakeOver and Hilite Agency. He has also worked on over 100 different film and television productions as a member of ICG 669 as both a 1st AC and Camera Operator. He has shot independent projects with people such as Seth Rogen, Snoop Dogg, Roger Deakins, Tyler the Creator, Nick Cage, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Brockhampton, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Ski Mask, NLE Choppa, and Boygenius. Also an accredited screenwriter with the WGC, Sam graduated with a BA in Philosophy from UBC in 2013, Langara College Film Arts - Directing & Screenwriting program in 2014, and was a participant at Vancouver’s Intersections Media in 2016.
